Combat Veterans Outdoors is a 501c3 NonProfit organization made up of 100% all Volunteers. We organize and promote dozens of events annually. Our main purpose is to gather Combat Veterans who have served in combat from WWII to the current theater of operation in the Middle East and to get them outdoors with other Combat Veterans to start their personal healing process.
Combat Veterans Outdoors is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to honoring and supporting those who have served in combat. Our mission is to provide veterans with unforgettable outdoor experiences—whether it's hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying the peace of nature—giving them a chance to heal, reconnect, and find camaraderie with fellow warriors.
We understand the toll that combat takes, both physically and mentally. That’s why we create opportunities for veterans to step away from daily struggles and into the great outdoors, where they can share in silence or laughter, building bonds that last a lifetime. At CVO, we stand by our brothers and sisters, ensuring that no veteran is ever left behind.
Combat Veterans Outdoors was ignited by the passion of our former President's, Shane Bailey, and Jesse Sims. Their dedication to supporting combat veterans inspired a movement—one that provides unforgettable outdoor experiences, from deer and duck hunting to fishing and thermal hog hunts.
Our first Texas event was a tremendous success, thanks to overwhelming community support. With a focus on controlled growth, we aim to expand into Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Nebraska.
We honor the sacrifices of our veterans—both in body and soul—by offering them the camaraderie and healing power of the outdoors. Whether in shared silence or heartfelt laughter, we are committed to standing beside them, always
